Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position based in Philadelphia, PA, for a Lead Technologist. The Lead Technologist will oversee daily operations and provide technical guidance within a clinical or laboratory setting. Responsibilities include supervising staff, ensuring compliance with safety and operational protocols, maintaining and troubleshooting advanced equipment, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care or outcomes. The role also involves developing and implementing workflow improvements and ensuring the quality and efficiency of all procedures. Qualifications Technical expertise in clinical or laboratory technology, equipment operation, and maintenanceStrong leadership and supervisory skills, including staffing, training, and mentoring a diverse teamProficiency in ensuring regulatory compliance and adherence to safety and quality standardsEffective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on patient-centered careBachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience; relevant certifications (e.g., ASCP, AART) are preferredProven ability to lead workflow optimization and process improvement initiativesExperience with health system or academic medical center environments is an advantage
