The ideal candidate is one who thrives working in a highly dynamic team oriented environment; Sharing the common goal of providing reliable data to our clients that can be used to improve the safety and effectiveness of materials produced and used in pharmaceutical and medical device products.What You Will DoPrepare culture media and reagents used within the Microbiology LaboratoryMaintain laboratory culturesReceipt and stocking of laboratory suppliesSample disposal and autoclaving of laboratory wasteLaboratory cleaning, dishwashing, and glassware maintenanceScanning and filing of laboratory documentsClean room Environmental monitoring and cleaningIncubation, enumeration, and evaluation of environmental monitoring cultures.QC (quality control) of microbiology media and reagents.What You Will BringHigh School Diploma with previous laboratory or cGMP experience; 4 year science related degree preferred.Ability to adhere to Good Documentation Practices within a cGMP environmentKeen attention to detail and adherence to Standard Operating ProceduresAbility to excel in a fast-paced work environmentAbility to lift 50lbAbility to multi-task and be flexible with changing prioritiesPhysical/Mental RequirementsThe physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
