The position requires a working relationship with different functional areas to ensure an in depth understanding of the financial results.Position ResponsibilitiesThe candidate will demonstrate a solid understanding of GAAP accounting as well as data management and financial analysis skills. Ensure the production of timely, accurate and relevant financial reports to plant management in order to facilitate understanding and analysis of the business and business opportunities Ensure that accounting practices are in compliance with all relevant accounting standards, and company values and practices Seek/participate in continuous process improvements Assist in annual physical inventory process and related reconciliation Perform the monthly accounting close process and journal entry postings Support the senior GL and senior cost accountants with ad hoc analysis of results, budgets, and forecasts with focus on P&L performance. Participate in month end closing procedures including, but not limited to, accurate and timely completion and posting of closing entries and month end reports Complete daily GL maintenance tasks timely and accurately Conduct account reconciliations Contribute in audits and SOX testsKey Competencies And Success FactorsLead changes in process and systemsDemonstrated strong technical and analytical skillsStrong collaboration skills across multiple disciplines and must be a team player Demonstrated excellent oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal skills to all levels of the organizationMust be detailed-oriented and deadline sensitive Must be proficient in the use of standard software programsHigh degree of initiative, creativity, and problem solving ability required Experience And Skills RequiredBachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or businessMinimum of 1-3 years of experience in financial management or in financial accounting.Manufacturing plant experience a plusAnnual Base Salary Range Or Hourly Base Pay Range$45,400.00 - $80,640.00Compensation TypeSalaryIncentive EligibleNoSales Commission EligibleNoDisclaimer: We strive to provide competitive compensation for this position, tailored to a variety of factors.
