This position is for 2nd Shift (2pm - 10pm) Job Summary: Prepares, administers, and records certain prescribed medications for residents in the facility under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Answer signal lights as necessary, orders prescribed and stock medications, and assists with patient care, i.e., helping put residents to bed or to get up, take them to the bathroom, etc. Does whatever required to maintain a safe environment. Must be knowledgeable of nursing/administration policies and procedures. Requirements: Education: High School Must be able to follow and understand oral and/or written English directions. Training and experience: must have completed a state approved training program in Medication Administration Job Knowledge: Education or training for recertification must be complete according to Federal and State Regulations. Experience: Point Click Care Assisted Living CNA experience preferred Assisting residents with ADLs Answering call lights 60 Beds 5 Star/ Zero deficiency facility The Village at Incarnate Word provides VIA bus passes.
