Evercore ISI seeks to hire a Research Associate or Senior Associate for its top-ranked Healthcare Tech & Distribution equity research team located in New York, NY.Primary Responsibilities: The ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic and should be comfortable working independently as well as in a fast-paced team-oriented environment. Prior equity research or investment banking experience is preferred but not required. Prior experience in healthcare is also preferred but not required. Other responsibilities include:Develop and update company-specific and industry (healthcare services) financial modelsPerform financial and valuation analysis of covered companiesAuthor industry and company-specific research reportsOversee data collection and monitor investor news servicesOther duties as necessarySpecific Qualifications1-2 years of relevant experience, preferably with strong finance and accounting skillsExceptional quantitative and modeling/Excel capabilitiesExcellent communication skills; the job entails significant writing and PowerPoint responsibilitiesConcrete understanding of / demonstrated interest in corporate finance & equity marketsHealthcare industry or policy exposure is a plus, but not requiredPrior equity research or investment banking experience is preferredDesire to get your hands dirty to drive the success of a rising II HT&D franchiseAbout Evercore: Evercore (NYSE: EVR) is a premier global independent investment banking advisory firm.
