Export Compliance Specialist, Associate
Job Description: Qualcomms export compliance department is seeking an associate level export compliance specialist. The candidate will support mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activities for the export compliance team. The ideal candidate will be a recent university graduate that is meticulous, detailed orientated and highly organized. It is preferred that the candidate has relevant skills from working in a high technology company as an intern or work experience that includes M&A activities and/or project management (PM).Responsibilities Include:Tracking M&A activities with multiple disciplines within the company, such as: Engineering, Legal, IT, HR, Sales, Facilities, Procurement, etc.Develop and support EC process improvement project plans related to M&AUpdates to M&A project due-diligence lists, EC summaries and reporting templates.Facilitate M&A repository sites including planning and oversight of pre and post close EC action items.Identify key project processes that need updating and help organize them into trackers for EC management.Support development of M&A training plans for EC and the various disciplines EC collaborates with.Assist to develop post-integration risk assessment and audit plans.Other relevant M&A and integration activities.Minimum Qualifications:Recent university graduate with past work experience or internship in high-tech or semiconductor industry.Strong computer skills and knowledge of key systems including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, OneNote, MS Teams, etc.)Ability to provide guidance to managers on processes and seek information from multiple levels of EC management and personnel.Ability to prepare or revise procedures, work instructions, forms, and business flowcharts.Strong written and verbal communications skills.Meticulous reporting and data handling.Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge and experience on Microsoft Team, SharePoint, Salesforce, Database Design, Trade Export systems.Knowledge of the US Export Administration RegulationsProject management backgroundAbility to work in detailed level, work under pressure, and with frequent interruptions, while displaying sound judgment.Ability to work with multiple EC managers to organize project planning.Educational Requirements:Bachelors degree in international business, engineering, management, finance, language art, science, etc. or equivalent.Comments for Suppliers: Remote, but Prefer local San Diego Candidate. If outside of San Diego, must be able to work in PST time zone. Schedule may vary as this is a global team and need to be available for early hours (7am) for meetings as needed and late meetings as needed.Standard daily working hours (8hrs).Possible conversion, no guarantee
