Nurse Practitioner (NP)

A Medical Practice is seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team and provide care at a skilled nursing facility in North Bergen, NJ.Must be able to work either 2 PM -10 PM or 3 PM - 11 PM.New graduates with strong clinical capabilities are welcome to apply. Competitive compensation will be offered, commensurate with experience. Extensive training and ongoing support are provided.Duties:Ensure delivery of quality patient care in a respectful, professional manner.Collaborate with physicians by identifying patient care issues, providing clinical insights, and implementing directives.Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including interviews, physical exams, and medical history reviews.Document all patient care activities thoroughly and accurately in medical records.Perform therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing, and wound management.Educate and counsel patients on treatment plans, wellness, and health maintenance.Develop and implement patient management plans to ensure continuity of care.Maintain compliance with infection control policies and legal requirements.Participate in professional development activities and contribute to team growth and education.Requirements:Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner is required.Demonstrated skills in clinical assessment, health promotion, infection control, medication administration, and pain management.Strong ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.Commitment to self-development and staying current with professional standards.Experience in hospital or skilled nursing settings is preferred but not mandatory.
