Warehouse Worker

Job Description Local Logistics is looking for warehouse associates to perform a variety of tasks related to receiving, storing and shipping products. Warehouse associate responsibilities include unloading and loading trailers, sorting products by type, picking, and shipping orders. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction. Also includes warehouse cleanliness; debris is cleaned up in and around the warehouse, and items/ tools used are put away properly. We believe that a clean environment can bring a positive attitude. Essential Job Functions: Ability to sort and organize product in the appropriate areas or packages according to size, shape and material. Operate pallet jack or forklift. Use hand tools or machinery to move, flip, lift or stack products. Load and unload trucks using a forklift/ Pallet jack. Check product for damage and ensure it meets specifications. Label pallets with product information. (Example: Size, material, quantity) Verify orders are received correctly and send out correctly. Assist in maintaining the warehouse by cleaning, organizing and following safety procedures. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour Schedule: 4 hour shift 8 hour shift Day shift Every weekend Monday to Friday Morning shift Weekends as needed Experience: Warehouse experience: 1 year (Preferred) Language: English (Preferred) Work Location: In person
