High Net Worth Client Development Consultant

The posting may close early due to the volume of applicants.What You'll DoIn this role as a High Net Worth Client Development Consultant, you will support the expansion of the firm's M&A referral capabilities, strengthen relationships with external partners, and directly support financial advisors and their business owner clients with complex M&A‑related needs. You will play a critical role in supporting the team that serves as the primary point of contact between the field and the firm's M&A offerings, acting as a subject‑matter expert on M&A topics and helping guide branch teams along the optimal path for client servicing and engagement.You will bring strong relationship‑building skills, analytical and organizational capabilities, and a passion for working with business owners and the advisors who support them in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment. You will be responsible for supporting the overall M&A program, including tracking team activity, managing client and business development reporting, assisting with opportunity follow‑ups, and leveraging technical knowledge to support live cases.Reporting to the Senior Director of the M&A program, you will support opportunity intake and workflow coordination, assist with partner relationship, and network management, and provide market insights through various channels to Financial Advisors and clients. You will leverage your foundational experience in M&A, investment banking, corporate finance, business development, or a related field to ensure alignment with firm objectives and deliver measurable results.Here are a few of the key responsibilities you will be a part of:Execute key High Net Worth (HNW) client development strategies designed to help advisors win new business and expand existing client relationships by leveraging firm-wide HNW capabilities and the M&A Program. Serve as a primary point of contact between financial advisors and the firm's HNW M&A Program offering, helping identify advisor-driven business owner opportunities and aligning them to the most appropriate support and service models.Leverage deep expertise in HNW M&A products and services to propose tailored solutions that address complex client needs and advance holistic wealth management outcomes.Partner closely with branch teams to enable growth across the advisor population, using insights, consultative support, and firm resources to increase HNW opportunity conversion.Foster strong collaborative relationships with advisors, home office partners, and internal stakeholders to deliver a seamless client experience and drive sustained growth in the HNW segment.Act as a trusted consultant and connector, ensuring advisors are equipped with the right strategies, education, and access to effectively engage and serve HNW clients.Edward Jones' compensation and benefits package includes medical and prescription drug, dental, vision, voluntary benefits (such as accident, hospital indemnity, and critical illness), short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage.
