Assistant Boys Basketball Coach (High School)We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Boys Basketball Coach to support our high school basketball program and work with student-athletes. The assistant coach will help promote teamwork, sportsmanship, skill development, and a positive athletic experience for all participants.ResponsibilitiesAssist the Head Coach in planning, organizing, and conducting team practices.Help develop players' basketball skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship.Support the coordination and scheduling of games and team activities.Supervise student-athletes during practices, games, and team events.Help maintain a positive and supportive team environment.Assist with equipment management and other program needs as assigned.Attend practices, games, and related events, including some evenings and weekends.QualificationsMust hold or be able to obtain a New Mexico Coaching License.Previous coaching experience at the middle school or high school level preferred.Strong communication and organizational skills.Ability to work effectively with high school students and staff.Availability for evening and weekend commitments during the season.Additional RequirementsAll new employees must successfully complete a background check prior to employment.
