Legal Assistant | LitigationJoin a fast-paced litigation team supporting attorneys through all phases of case management, from initial filings to trial preparation, while ensuring deadlines, documents, and logistics are handled with precision. This full-time, hybrid role based in Portland, OR offers the opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality, client-focused legal support.LOCATION: Portland, ORSALARY: $58k-$78k/yr. Docket and track deadlines, ensuring compliance with Oregon and Washington court rules; proactively follow up with attorneys and verify accuracy of calculated deadlines. Coordinate logistics for hearings, depositions, and meetings, including scheduling, preparing notices and correspondence, arranging conference rooms, and securing court reporters. Support case administration tasks such as opening new matters, requesting conflict checks, proofreading legal documents, and ensuring all filings and communications are accurate, timely, and client-focused. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 3–8+ years of litigation support experience, with knowledge of court rules and filing procedures in Oregon and Washington (State and federal courts) Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including meticulous proofreading and attention to detail Proficiency in docketing/calendaring deadlines and coordinating complex schedules for hearings, depositions, and meetings Self-motivated, proactive professional committed to continuous development and delivering high-quality, client-focused legal support PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThis role requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working at a computer, as well as frequent use of standard office equipment.
