They are a closely-held forest products company, building value with timber lands, safe and efficient manufacturing, and passionate, capable people. We market quality products and provide superior customer service at a profit to sustain growth. Journey Millwrights will safely and effectively perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities at the Dillard, OR Lumber mill site.This is a Direct Hire opportunity, you will work for the client company from day #1 and start working towards your benefit eligibility.As a Journey Millwright, you will be responsible for:Work safely and effectively in a team environmentInspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repairTroubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs or adjustments to improve operationAssist with planning repair work using drawings, equipment manuals or field researchPerforms precision repairs on mill equipment.Performs preventive maintenance inspections and activities (lubrication and preventive maintenance plans) on mill equipment and building systems as required to ensure reliability of the operationCleans and assists with upkeep of the mill facilityPerforms other related duties as assignedThe ideal candidate for this role will have: Consistent and predictable attendanceAbility and willingness to cross-train into new jobs and skillsAbility to work a manufacturing shift configuration (24/7)Ability to follow instructions and interpret drawingsKnowledge of maintenance practices repairAbility to use hand tools and power toolsExcellent organizational and time management skillsExcellent communication skills4+ years experience as Millwright in production environmentProlonged periods of standing and walkingClimb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spacesAbility to lift up to 49 pounds at a timePreferred Skills/Abilities:Knowledge of a CMMSKnowledge of Precision Maintenance techniques, mechanical and / or electrical and instrumentationBenefits:Robust benefit and wellness offerings, competitive compensation pay rates, professional and personal development opportunities to grow your career, 401k matching, paid holidays,PTO, and more.Ask us about our Referral Bonus Program to earn extra cash.Ready to take the next step?
