Consello's investment business, Consello Capital, identifies high-potential mid-market companies and invests capital and expertise to transform their growth.Position OverviewConsello is hiring a Vice President to own and operationalize Salesforce as the secure operating platform that drives how our client-facing teams work day to day. This role is responsible for making Salesforce a real value creator for advisory, IR, marketing, and leadership — through workflow design, adoption discipline, and the data quality that makes it trustworthy. The platform also becomes the foundation that powers Consello’s AI strategy, but the near-term measure of success is whether client teams use it and rely on it.This hands-on role suits a Salesforce expert with strong product, BA, and adoption experience, plus enthusiasm for AI-assisted development. You’ll partner across Strategy, Operations, Client Services, Marketing, Technology, and leadership, with Executive Steering Committee sponsorship for adoption and data quality. Scope expands into broader data and AI over time.Key Responsibilities:Platform Ownership & ConfigurationPartner with the implementation partner through the build — validating configuration, leading UAT, driving stakeholder alignment, and ensuring the platform is set up to support long-term ownershipOwn Salesforce (FSC, Marketing Cloud, Shield) as Consello’s core system of record from go-live forwardMaintain the data model and build the Flows, validation rules, and automations that support pipeline management, meetings, staffing, time tracking, and event/campaign executionDevelop documentation, playbooks, and training materials; serve as the go-to resource for platform questions and best practicesPartner with leadership and the Steering Committee to embed Salesforce-driven reviews and dashboards into existing management rhythmsOperating Model & AdoptionStandardize how client teams operate — pipeline stages, activity expectations, workflows — and redesign pipeline reviews, meeting prep, staffing, and relationship management to run through SalesforceEnsure Salesforce delivers tangible value back to users — better meeting prep, clearer pipeline visibility, stronger relationship insights — not just better data capture for leadershipDrive firm-wide adoption and accountability, partnering closely with leadership to embed Salesforce into how the business is runEstablish clear expectations for data capture and usage, and track adoption metrics (active usage, pipeline completeness, activity capture)Security, Governance & ConfidentialityOwn the field-level security and ethical wall model for Consello’s high-confidentiality contact base — shaping the design during implementation and maintaining it thereafterManage role hierarchy, sharing rules, permission sets, and team-based visibility as the firm onboards new clients, adds team members, or restructures advisory teamsDefine and govern AI agent access to Salesforce data, working with the Data & AI team and the GC/CCOData Quality, Enrichment & ArchitectureLead the transition from HubSpot to Salesforce as a business transformation, not just a system migration — establishing data standards and ensuring ongoing data quality through enrichment, de-duplication, completeness audits, and dashboards to monitor healthManage ZoomInfo, BoardEx (Altrata), and other enrichment integrations to maintain accuracy across the firm’s relationship base; bring a clear product perspective on how data quality improves the user experiencePartner with AI Architects on data architecture that supports analytics, reporting, and AI-powered applicationsAI & Agent OperationsDesign AI workflows that surface CRM data to make client-facing teams more effective — meeting prep, pipeline visibility, relationship intelligence — building on the trusted platform layer this role establishesPartner with the Data & AI team to evaluate and implement Salesforce agent capabilities, including Agentforce, MCP-based integrations, and emerging Headless 360 functionality, where they improve CRM access, workflow execution, or user experienceHelp prioritize AI use cases with the Data & AI team, including meeting intelligence, relationship intelligence, and knowledge intelligenceReporting & InsightsBuild and maintain dashboards on activity capture, pipeline health, relationship coverage, staffing, and adoption; report regularly to the CDAIO and Steering Committee on platform and data quality healthGrowth & Expanded Scope (Over Time)Over time, this role may expand to include broader data operations responsibilities — conversational intelligence, data provider partnerships, knowledge and document management, and cross-system data operations.What Success Looks Like (12 Months)Salesforce is consistently used across client teams and leadership — replacing verbal updates and shared-drive tracking as the system of recordStandardized workflows (pipeline review, meeting prep, staffing, relationship management) are embedded in day-to-day operationsLeadership relies on Salesforce for pipeline, coverage, and activity insightTeams view Salesforce as a tool that improves their effectiveness, not as overhead — and the platform’s data foundation is ready to support the AI roadmapQualificationsRequired7+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience as a platform owner or senior administrator, ideally including a full implementation cycle from build through ongoing ownershipSalesforce Administrator certification required; Platform App Builder preferredDemonstrated Salesforce expertise across platform configuration, Flow Builder, validation rules, reports, and dashboards, with deep fluency in security architecture — role hierarchy, sharing rules, permission sets, field-level security, and sensitive-data access patternsProven ability to translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce workflows, reporting, and governance processesTrack record driving adoption and consistent usage across client-facing teams, including senior stakeholdersWorking comfort (and enthusiasm) with AI development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, or equivalent) to accelerate platform changes and prototypingExcellent communication skills — translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and business needs into technical configurationsComfort in high-discretion, relationship-driven environments;
