Our approach emphasizes practical, business-first legal advice that balances day-to-day operational needs with broader organizational priorities, enabling companies to navigate legal challenges efficiently while managing risk and supporting growth.About Your RoleReporting directly to the Managing Partner, the Associate Attorney will handle commercial contracts, corporate transactions, and general business counseling for clients across various industries. The ideal candidate will provide strategic legal advice while drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements, with significant emphasis on non-disclosure agreements and confidentiality matters. Key ResponsibilitiesDraft, review, and negotiate a high volume of non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), confidentiality agreements, and related protective documentsDraft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, master service agreements, engagement letters, and statements of work as neededLead client relationships and communication while meeting same-day or next-day response times as requested by clientsLead negotiations with counterparties while informing and educating clients on positions and issues that arise during contractual negotiationsAssist with policy and procedure drafting and reviewConduct legal research and review applicable statutes and regulationsEscalate matters internally and externally as needed to reach an accurate and efficient solutionManage and prioritize multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environmentMaintain contract files and repositoriesPerform other job-related duties as assigned Qualifications and SkillsMinimum 3 years of experience in transactional/corporate mattersJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law schoolActive bar membership in good standingStrong understanding of corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory mattersExcellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skillsDemonstrated ability to take initiative and exercise independent judgmentDetail-oriented with the ability to meet tight deadlinesAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present legal issues clearly and conciselyExceptional organizational skills and ability to handle demanding responsibilities in a high-volume environmentFlexibility and comfort with a dynamic, often-changing environment Compensation and BenefitsThis role is eligible for the firm’s full employee benefits package, which includes:Minimum 3 years of experience in transactional/corporate mattersJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law schoolCompetitive salary range of $75,000-$90,000 based on experienceComprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) plan with a company matchHealth and dependent care flexible spending accounts (FSA)Group life insurance and disability coverageFlexible PTO policyPaid holidaysDirect applicants only.
