Force Roofing Systems is one of the fastest growing roofing companies in Middle & Eastern, TN and has an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Residential Roofing Superintendent for our Franklin, TN location. Superintendent Job Description Responsible for planning and controlling every stage (from pre-construction, through to completion) of residential roof installations or repairs to multiple concurrent construction projects. Complete projects on time and within budget, while ensuring that roofing teams work in safe conditions. Requirements - 1 year experience in the Roofing business - 1 year experience with new construction production - Bilingual is a plus, but not required Goals Maximize job profitability Ensure 100% adherence to company and government safety standards Proactively plan each job to maximize efficiency Ensure that all completed jobs meet FRS standard of quality Maximize the utilization of FRS assets Produce job within budgeted labor and materials estimate RESPONSIBILITIES Pre-Job: Review job package for accuracy and completeness Ensure all material is available for the job Contact salesman prior to pre-job walk to review particulars Contact client and schedule a pre-job meeting/review on every project - Setup parking, special concerns/considerations, budget accuracy, potential issues, porta-potty. Assemble job packet and review with lead estimator and job foreman Assign specific daily completion goals with the foreman to exceed budget During Job: Maintain communication with customers and the Market Manager throughout the job 1. Contact onsite representative 3 times per week 2. Contact offsite representative daily Create Production Change Orders and have client sign off on them Perform onsite inspections with foreman a minimum of 3 times per week Take photos of each stage of job and put in job folder Meet with client near the end of the poly phase of the job (the day before) to ensure customer satisfaction and address any concerns Notify Estimator of job progress for Progress Billing one day prior to completion Prepare customer for the reflective coating process (are they paid up?) Meet with foreman on the jobsite to review reflective phase and production goals Inspect roof near the end of the reflective phase for quality and finish up work Post Job: Contact customer for final job walk and sign off on job completion form (within one week of completion) Ensure safety, jobsite cleanliness, and equipment removal at jobsite Notify Estimator of project completion Other: Leave your company phone on 24 hours a day and return emergency calls Report progress of all projects at weekly production meeting Review foreman’s timecards for your projects for accuracy, OT, job coding, etc. There will be out of town work and weekends on occasion Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Vison insurance 401k Paid time off Schedule: Monday to Friday Weekends as needed Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Experience: Superintendent: 3 years (Required) Work Location: On the road
