We are seeking an Orbital Analyst to join our flight dynamics software team supporting critical 24x7 space operations and software development.The Orbital Analyst, Associate will be responsible for conducting in-depth analysis of orbital trajectories and space object behavior to support mission planning and situational awareness. This role involves developing and testing orbital maneuver plans to optimize satellite positioning, avoid collisions, and achieve operational objectives. The analyst configures, maintains, tests, and troubleshoots specialized orbit analysis software while leading the design and implementation of custom Orbit Analysis software systems that enhance data processing, visualization, and decision-making capabilities. In addition, the position requires direct customer engagement, including delivering comprehensive training on system use and providing ongoing technical support and maintenance to ensure reliable performance and user proficiency across operational environments.Experience And SkillsBachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering or related fieldSoftware development experienceMaster’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field OR 5+ years relevant experiencePreferred Skilss/ExperienceMaster’s Degree in Orbital Dynamics or related field3+ years Software Development experience working with Java, Python, C++, REST interfaces, C, or batch scriptingThe grade-based pay range for this job is listed below.
