Lead Budtender

DescriptionThe Lead Budtender (Sales Associate) - Key Holder is responsible for creating a world class customer experience for every customer. The role reports to the Store Manager works with store Budtenders (Lumenaries) in carrying out all retail operations in the store, including, but not limited to, register operations, customer service, store appearance and displays, and employee interactions, and by performing other functions as assigned.RequirementsThe ResponsibilitiesSupervise activities of the provisioning center team in conjunction with the Store Manager and Assistant Store ManagerDeal with issues that arise from employees or customers (complaints, grievances etc.)Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to sales staffEnsure high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent serviceEnsure compliance with state regulations, policies and proceduresMaintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standardsMaintain compliance with security, inventory, and local and state regulationsEnsure the safety and satisfaction of both the patients and employeesEducation staff on cannabis strains, edibles, concentrates, and consumption mechanismsMaintain in-depth knowledge of products and strains industry-wide and in the storeBe a shining example of good behavior and high performanceThe Qualifications2+ years of experience in a retail management environment2+ years of cannabis related retail experience preferredCollege degree preferred; High School diploma requiredProven successful experience as a retail leaderExcellent interpersonal communication skillsAccountability for self and othersBalanced and intuitive decision makingPractical and proactive thinkingMaintain organized workplace
