Facilities Maintenance Coordinator
Title: Facilities Maintenance CoordinatorLocation: Exton, PASchedule: M-F 8am-5pmType: 6 month ContractStart: ASAPResponsibilitiesFacilities Management: Oversee the maintenance and operation of all laboratory and office facilities. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations. Coordinate facility repairs, improvements, and renovations as needed. Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers. Monitor and manage facility budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations. Laboratory Management: Ensure the efficient operation of all laboratory spaces, including equipment maintenance and calibration. Oversee the procurement, inventory, and management of laboratory supplies and reagents. Implement and maintain laboratory safety protocols and procedures. Coordinate with research teams to support their equipment and space needs. Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance: Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections. Provide training and support to staff on safety practices and emergency procedures. Ensure proper disposal of hazardous materials and waste. Administrative and Support Functions: Maintain records of facility and equipment maintenance, safety inspections, and regulatory compliance. Assist with the planning and execution of facility-related projects and initiatives. Support the onboarding of new employees by providing training on lab and facility procedures. Requirements Bachelor's degree in facilities management, engineering, life sciences, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities and laboratory management, preferably in a biotech or pharmaceutical setting. Strong knowledge of laboratory equipment, maintenance procedures, and safety regulations.
