Structural Designer

Role 1: Structural Designer (Job ID: 24347) – 3 Openings Client: Jacobs Engineering Location: Remote (Occasional travel to a Jacobs Electronics office may be required for in-person support or collaboration) Duration: 6 Months Email: AdarshaLimma@trianotechnologies.com Responsibilities Develop and coordinate 3D structural models based on verbal instructions, markups, or conceptual sketches. Produce complete, coordinated, and constructible drawing sets for assigned scope. Apply department and client standards consistently by default, without reliance on corrective review. Take full ownership of assigned scope from assignment through issuance, including coordination, schedule, and quality. Review models and documents for quality, completeness, and standards compliance prior to formal QA/QC. Coordinate directly with engineers and related disciplines to resolve design and documentation issues. Execute assigned scope reliably without requiring continuous oversight or follow-up. Lead defined scope or small packages, including coordination and delivery through others. Provide leadership for small packages and guide a small team of designers. Coordinate team tasks and balance workloads to maintain progress and meet deadlines. Ensure quality and standards compliance across contributed work within defined scope. Take ownership of internal reviews and support cross-discipline and external package reviews. Advance design automation skills and embrace emerging technologies. Requirements Associate degree in Computer-Aided Drafting or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years drafting/design experience in the structural field. Minimum of 3 years Revit experience. Strong interpersonal leadership skills and communication skills. 7 years of drafting/design experience in the structural field. 5 years of Revit experience. Experience with SmartPlant and Tekla. Experience using Navisworks and Bluebeam. Experience designing traditional steel and concrete structures. Experience with general industrial facilities, preferably semiconductor-related. Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour Work Location: Remote
