About the Opportunity:
The SENIOR ACCESSIBILITY PROGRAM MANAGER role is central to implementing and advancing the organization's accessibility strategy. This position drives initiatives that enhance accessibility internally for employees and externally for developers and customers. The role impacts how the organization integrates accessibility into its culture, products, and community engagement, promoting empowerment for people with disabilities. It involves managing programs that collect feedback, build communities of practice, and expand accessible technology tools, contributing to the organization's broader accessibility goals.
Responsibilities:
Manage systems for inclusive user research and accessibility feedback.
Develop and support an accessibility community of practice within the enterprise customer base.
Enhance and promote the adoption of an open-source accessibility scanner among customers and open-source communities.
Contribute to accessibility program goals including improving workplace accessibility, empowering developers with disabilities, supporting customers’ accessibility objectives, and enhancing open-source accessibility.
Requirements:
7+ years in Corporate Social Responsibility, sustainability, accessibility engineering/design, or similar, OR Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years, OR Master's degree plus 3+ years, OR Doctorate plus 1+ year in related fields.3+ years experience managing cross-organizational programs or initiatives in large organizations.3+ years experience assessing web content against Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.1+ year hands-on experience using AI and automation to scale accessibility improvements.
Preferred:
Experience with accessible web UI development (JavaScript/modern technologies), data collection and analysis for compliance, and product roadmapping with engineering and product teams. Pay Range and Compensation Package: The base salary range for this role is USD 103,200.00 to USD 273,700.00 per year.
