material handling projects from kickoff through completionDefine project scope, goals, deliverables, schedules, and milestones in alignment with customer and company requirementsDevelop and maintain project plans, timelines, action items, and resource needs using project management tools and internal systemsCoordinate internal resources and external vendors to support project progressTrack project schedules, deliverables, budgets, and open items to help ensure projects remain on targetSupport startup, installation, commissioning, and closeout activities when requiredCross-Functional CommunicationServe as a key point of coordination between Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Purchasing, Service, vendors, and customersCommunicate project expectations, updates, risks, and next steps clearly and consistentlyWork with Sales Engineers and Applications teams to review customer specifications and project requirementsPartner with internal teams to resolve project questions, open items, and schedule impactsSupport clear handoffs between project phases and departmentsScope, Risk & Issue TrackingMonitor changes in project scope and communicate potential cost, schedule, or resource impactsIdentify project risks, delays, and open items, and escalate concerns appropriatelySupport collaborative problem-solving when technical, operational, or logistical issues ariseMaintain accurate project documentation, meeting notes, status updates, and communication recordsAssist with project closeout reporting, lessons learned, and process improvement opportunitiesRequired QualificationsWhat We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, business, or a related technical field preferredMinimum of 5 years of project management experience within manufacturing, process engineering, capital equipment, automation, or a related technical environmentExperience managing projects from concept through execution, installation, startup, or commissioningAbility to manage multiple priorities, timelines, budgets, and communication points in a fast-paced environmentStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently while leading and collaborating with cross-functional teamsTechnical Skills & KnowledgeUnderstanding of manufacturing processes, engineering design, equipment integration, or custom machineryAbility to read and interpret technical documentation, engineering drawings, specifications, and project requirementsFamiliarity with drafting or modeling software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD is helpfulExperience using project management tools such as Microsoft Project or similar platforms preferredProficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and TeamsProfessional SkillsStrong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to build effective working relationships with internal teams, vendors, and customersStrong follow-up skills with the ability to keep projects, tasks, and communication organizedAnalytical problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to shifting prioritiesComfortable asking questions, escalating concerns, and driving open items to resolutionThis materials or project documentation, typically up to 25 lbs.Exposure to manufacturing environments, machinery, noise, and production activity when on the shop floorOccasional travel to customer sites
