The therapist will utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nProvide rehabilitative and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders.\nAdminister various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive and assistive devices.\nAssess patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly in compliance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.\nEvaluate treatment outcomes for effectiveness and modify services based on patient evaluations.\nConsult and counsel patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.\nCommunicate effectively with supervisors and health team members about patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans.\nProvide comprehensive discharge summaries of services rendered in adherence to regulatory and clinical requirements.\nDocument all required information accurately in the electronic documentation system and maintain patient records according to company policy.\nParticipate in required meetings including patient care conferences and rehabilitation meetings.\nSupervise and support occupational therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and/or students.\nAdhere to NBCOT and state-required practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics during professional practice.\n\n\nSchedule\nThis is a Days shift of 8 hours per day.\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n\n1+ years of Occupational Therapy experience is required.\nExperience in Long-Term Care (LTC) or Rehabilitation is required.\nAn active Occupational Therapy license is required at the time of submission.\nNew graduates are considered only with Level II fieldwork experience.\n\n\nWhy ARMStaffing?\nAt ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
