Marketplace Account Manager
About the RoleSigma Beauty is seeking a detail-oriented and growth-focused Marketplace Account Manager to oversee and optimize our marketplace presence, with a strong emphasis on Amazon US and Amazon EU. This role will be responsible for ensuring listings are accurate, optimized, visually compelling, and fully aligned with brand standards while driving marketplace growth through advertising, SEO strategy, and operational excellence.The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing Amazon Seller/Vendor Central accounts and a strong background in Amazon advertising. This position requires someone who understands how to strategically grow marketplace performance through paid media, SEO optimization, and brand protection initiatives. Experience with Amazon advertising is required for this role.In addition to Amazon US and Amazon EU, this role will also support and manage additional marketplace platforms as needed.This is a growth-oriented role with opportunities for increased responsibility and compensation based on performance and business impact. Starting salary is $75,000, with a formal compensation review planned after 6–12 months.Primary ResponsibilitiesManage new item setup across Amazon and additional marketplace platformsOptimize product image stacks, A+ Content, and Brand Store storefronts to maximize conversion and brand consistencyEnsure all listings, images, and enhanced content are live, accurate, and aligned with brand guidelinesMonitor and maintain Amazon case logs, escalating and resolving issues efficientlyIdentify and troubleshoot suppressed listings, missing content, listing errors, and account health concernsMaintain and update variation families including size, scent, bundle, and pack changesDevelop and execute Amazon SEO strategies including keyword optimization, titles, bullet points, backend search terms, and content enhancementsAnalyze marketplace trends, search performance, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities and improve organic rankingManage and optimize Amazon advertising campaigns including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, and DSP initiativesMonitor advertising performance metrics including ROAS, CTR, CPC, TACOS, and conversion rates while making strategic optimizationsDevelop strategic advertising recommendations to improve traffic, ranking, sales performance, and profitabilityManage and address unauthorized sellers, reseller issues, MAP violations, and marketplace brand protection concernsSupport and manage additional ecommerce marketplaces as business needs evolvePartner with internal teams and external agencies to support marketplace growth initiatives and product launchesProvide strategic recommendations for marketplace expansion, optimization, and overall account growthQualifications3+ years of experience managing Amazon marketplace content and operationsRequired: Proven hands-on experience managing and optimizing Amazon advertising campaignsStrong understanding of Amazon advertising platforms including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, and DSP fundamentalsStrong understanding of Amazon SEO including titles, bullets, backend search terms, keyword strategy, and catalog optimizationDemonstrated experience developing Amazon marketplace growth and optimization strategiesExperience with A+ Content, Brand Store management, and listing optimization strategiesExperience addressing unauthorized sellers, reseller issues, MAP violations, and brand protection initiatives on marketplacesProven ability to troubleshoot suppressed listings, variation issues, and account health concernsStrong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data and implement strategic improvementsExcellent attention to detail with a continuous improvement mindsetStrong communication and collaboration skills with internal and external business partnersSelf-starter with excellent follow-up skills and the ability to prioritize competing prioritiesExperience managing Amazon US and Amazon EU marketplaces preferredExperience managing additional ecommerce marketplaces is a plusBeauty industry or ecommerce brand experience is a plus
