Life Enrichment Activities Aide

St. Joseph Rehabilitation and Nursing Center - We are seeking a highly motivated, talented, and engaging Life enrichment/ Activities Aide to join our St. Joseph Rehabilitation and Nursing Center team. The primary role is to coordinate and oversee the life enrichment program for our residents.The position will work closely with the team to provide support and guidance in implementing the resident's interests for engagement and FUN! In this role you have the opportunity to truly make a difference in the lives of others.You will hire, recruit, train and educate all staff, develop the program, interview and assess residents to create person-centered activities, care plans and create/execute monthly calendars, events, and experiences -among other tasks!Some of the job responsibilities of the Life Enrichment / Activities Aide include:Implements life enrichment activities on all floors for all residents based on Life Story information and plans of care.Facilitate communication between the resident and family members.Ensure, when applicable, that the Dementia Program is implemented according to the Landmark Lighthouse Program.Provides therapeutically friendly environment in the residents' personal and congregate areas.Help lead programs and activities that are exciting, engaging and enriching for residents of differing functional levels.Assist the Director of Life enrichment with interviews and assessments of all residents for Life Enrichment Program.Qualifications of the Life Enrichment / Activities AideIndividuals should have outstanding communication skills.Individual should have a can-do attitude and creative thinking skills.Possess the ability to lead individual and group programs that offer social, recreational, and educational events designed to improve each participant's self-awareness and level of functioning.As the Life Enrichment Director, you will enjoy:Competitive pay.Weekly pay- every Thursday!401(k) Retirement Planning with Company contribution.A comprehensive, outstanding benefit package that includes generous vacation, holiday pay, health, dental, vision insurance.Wellness Benefits to assist with a work / life balance.Employer paid Life Insurance and Long-term disability coverage- no cost to employees.Monthly Employee Recognition programs- we like to have fun at work!A Landmark Management Solutions, LLC Center.EOEINDSTJ25
