Full Stack Engineer

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Full Stack Software Engineer for an innovative and growing technology consulting and software development firm. This is a full time, direct hire hybrid (2 days onsite) opportunity in Plano, TX.This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who takes ownership of their work, enjoys learning new technologies, and is excited to contribute to a growing organization where they can make a meaningful impact.PERKS:Comprehensive healthcare benefitsTwo weeks of paid time off plus an additional two weeks of work-from-anywhere flexibility annuallyDirect exposure to company leadership with significant influence on products and technical directionLong-term career growth opportunities, mentorship, and potential future equity participationRESPONSIBILITIES:Design, build, and support full stack software applications using modern web technologies and cloud platformsCollaborate with business and technical stakeholders to develop scalable solutions that solve real-world operational challengesIntegrate APIs, databases, AI-enabled technologies, and third-party services into production applicationsDeploy, maintain, and improve applications across development, testing, and production environmentsContribute to software architecture, documentation, security practices, and development standardsTake ownership of projects, proactively identify solutions, and continuously improve processes and system capabilitiesQUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field Minimum 4+ years of professional software engineering experience with full stack application development Experience with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, Python, or similar modern development technologies Experience building, deploying, and supporting cloud-based applications in AWS, Azure, GCP, or comparable environments Experience utilizing AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar platforms to improve productivity, problem-solving, and software delivery Demonstrated ability to work independently, learn new technologies quickly, and take ownership of projects with minimal oversight Strong communication, collaboration, documentation, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment Preferred QualificationsExperience integrating AI-enabled applications, LLM APIs, or automation tools into production software Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, RAG architectures, vector databases, or similar AI frameworks Experience with Kubernetes is highly preferred Startup, consulting, freelance, or founding engineer experience highly valuedCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:This position offers a competitive base salary of up to $150,000/yr (DOE) plus 10% annual bonus annually tied to individual contributions.
