IT Operations Manager
The Sr. Manager of IT Operations is a hands-on leader responsible for infrastructure, systems engineering, cloud, service desk, and WMS/manufacturing support. This role requires deep technical involvement and leadership in a fast-growing manufacturing and distribution environment.This is a builder role. You will inherit a stable but aging on-prem environment, an unstructured service desk, and no defined cloud or on-call strategy. Your focus is to modernize infrastructure, implement scalable processes, and support business growth without disrupting operationsKEY RESPONSIBILITIES Infrastructure & CloudLead infrastructure operations and drive cloud migration strategyOwn Azure environment, identity (Entra ID), and M365Manage vendors and multi-site supportService Desk & OperationsBuild and lead a structured, ITIL-based service deskImplement on-call, incident, change, and disaster recovery processesEnsure system stability and continuous improvementWMS & Manufacturing SystemsOversee support and scalability of warehouse and manufacturing systemsPartner with operations leadership to support growthSupport MES evaluation and implementationLeadershipLead, develop, and hold accountable a cross-functional IT teamBuild cross-training and eliminate single points of failurePartner with business and engineering leadersREQUIREMENTSExperience leading IT infrastructure and operations teamsHands-on cloud experience (Azure preferred) and migration executionStrong service management background (ITIL or equivalent)Expertise in identity, M365, and enterprise applications (ERP/WMS)Ability to balance hands-on technical work with leadership
