Pharmacy Data Entry Technician - Iowa

United Scripts is a closed-door pharmacy where you can focus on fulfilling the pharmaceutical needs of our long-term care and senior living clients. We service 80+ long term care and senior living communities in the bi-state area. We offer a non-retail pharmacy environment. Shift: A mixture of shifts that include 8am-430pm, 9am-530pm, and 1030am-7pm. Weekend rotation working Saturday Holiday rotation - required to work 1 winter and 1 summer holiday Responsibilities Include: · Triage, interpret and process orders into pharmacy computer system while meeting accuracy and productivity standards of the pharmacy. · Ensure orders are processed according to pharmacy cutoff times and within expected delivery windows · Performs drug calculations including basic mathematical calculations · Provides excellent customer service to both external and internal customers and provide empathetic care. · May assist with drug preparation and dispensing under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. · Performs other tasks as assigned, which can include assisting in any area of the pharmacy as directed by management.
