We treat everyone in our facility as family, because that's how we view everyone under our roof!Maintenance Assistant Summary:The Maintenance Assistant provides a variety of standard and skilled tasks in the maintenance and repairs of center grounds and facility.Maintenance Assistant Responsibilities:Works closely with and follows direction of director/supervisor.Maintains building and grounds in a clean, safe and orderly condition.Maintains and repairs basic functions of center as determined by the Maintenance Director.Takes care of tools and equipment.Makes minor repairs on handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, Geri-chairs, electrical equipment, sprinkler systems, generators, emergency lights, fire alarms and extinguishers, changes filters on HVAC equipment, carries, lifts and stock supplies.Remains on call when assigned for 24/hrs. a day.Assumes supervisor's responsibilities in his/her absence.Ensures that customers/families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere.Performs other duties as assignedRequirements for Maintenance Assistant/ Transportation Aide:Prior experience in LTC preferred (not required)Must be 18 years (+) to work at any of our facilities.High school Diploma or equivalentBasic knowledge of wiring, plumbing and carpentryPreferred experience in patient transportBenefits for Maintenance Assistant:Health InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsurancePaid Time Off401k
