Senior Project Manager Commercial Construction/General Contractor Manhattan, New York Salary Range: $175,000 $200,000 + Bonus A leading New York City General Contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join its Manhattan team. This firm is widely recognised as one of NYCs most reputable contractors, delivering complex projects across commercial buildings, healthcare, data centres, and government sectors. The Senior Project Manager will play a key leadership role, managing multiple projects simultaneously while mentoring and guiding Project Managers across the organisation. Key Responsibilities Lead the delivery of multiple construction projects from preconstruction through closeout Oversee budgets, schedules, procurement, and subcontractor coordination Provide leadership and mentorship to Project Managers and project teams Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards Collaborate closely with executive leadership on project strategy and execution Requirements 7+ years of experience in construction project management, ideally in the NYC market Strong background working for reputable General Contractor or CM in the NYC market Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects Experience leading project teams and mentoring junior PMs Excellent communication and client-facing skills Strong understanding of project controls, budgeting, and scheduling Compensation & Benefits Salary: $175,000 $200,000 Annual bonus and project based bonuses Health, dental and vision coverage, life insurance Up to 4 weeks PTO Long-term career progression with a highly respected contractor This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing contractor with an exceptional reputation and stable leadership team, working on some of the most interesting commercial projects in New York City.
