Utilizes appropriate pain management techniques. Educates the patient and family regarding pain managementResponds to the physical, mental, social and emotional needs of terminally ill patients and their familiesAssesses patient’s condition, initiates plan of care, re-evaluates and updates as necessaryObtains all necessary physician orders and collaborates with physician as patient’s needs dictateInitiates case conferences to discuss multidisciplinary team responsibilities, pain management, bereavement counseling, etcBenefitsCompetitive salaryMileage reimbursementExcellent PTO program (up to 136 hours in first year)Every Friday is payday!Health, dental, vision401k match programGreat team environment!RequirementsOne year Hospice experience preferred2 years of RN experience requiredLicensed Registered Nurse in State of IndianaCurrent driver's licenseMust have reliable transportation and insuranceWe hope to speak with you about the rewarding nature of hospice nursing!
