Although this is a wrench-turning position with no direct reports we assure you that you will join a diverse team that prides itself on building relationships and community.Position: Maintenance/Facilities TechnicianJob Type: Full-timeLocation: FFC West LoopShifts Required: Varies. Flexibility is needed. 40 hours per weekCompensation: $25-27 per hour (depending on experience)Qualifications:Have an understanding of 3-phase electrical equipmentKnowledge of low pressure steam boilers, HVAC and commercial refrigerationExperience with pool and spa operation and chemicalsKnowledge of fitness equipment repair and maintenanceCarpentry, painting and basic electrical skillsExperience with basic plumbing repairsManual dexterity and physical strengthDuties and Responsibilities: Provide a clean, safe, and healthy environment for members, guests, and co-workersEvery staff member, regardless of position, has a primary and urgent responsibility to clean and disinfect all club components as they are used by members and guests, and yourselfHelp retain and attain new members through club promotion and customer service excellenceMaintain building and grounds to provide a safe, efficient operating environment for members and staffPrepare and adhere to preventative maintenance schedulesFollow safety regulations and procedures pertaining to operation maintenance and repair of equipment.
