You’ll be part of a team that embraces innovation and continuous learning.Collaborative & Supportive EnvironmentDelta’s corporate values emphasize integrity, collaboration, inclusion, and empowerment, fostering an environment where diverse perspectives are valued and teamwork drives impact.International & Diverse Work EnvironmentWith sales offices, R&D centers, and manufacturing across nearly 200 global locations, employees engage with international teams and diverse markets — making it a truly global career experience.Continuous Learning & Personal GrowthDelta supports long-term career development through ongoing training, skill development programs, and access to global learning platforms — helping you grow personally and professionally.Inclusive & People-First CultureThe company actively promotes diversity, inclusion, and employee engagement, ensuring people feel valued and heard across global teams.Role ResponsibilityManagement, planning, and coordination of typically international product development and technology projects.Identification and evaluation of new technologies for our power supply products with a focus on power electronic circuit technology and digital control technology.Global networking and implementation of technology projects with universities as well as external and internal research institutions.Simulation-based design of demonstrators and comparative analysis using realistic models.Model-based design of digital control and optimization of control dynamics.Construction of product-related demonstrators and verification of target achievement, as well as validation of design methods and models on prototypes.Introduction of new technologies into product development during the development process.Independent processing and management of innovation projects, from specification to verification and product launch.Preparation of technical reports, technical articles, and customer presentations to support acquisition.Minimum QualificationBachelor or Master degree in electrical engineering with a focus on power electronics or energy technology (a PhD in this field would be advantageous).Several years of experience in the development of power electronics and associated digital control systems, using simulation-based design methods.Good knowledge of EMC and understanding of electromagnetic interference mechanisms in power electronic circuits.Good written and spoken English skills.Organizational skills, creativity, commitment and ability to work in a team.Confident use of standard IT applicationsWillingness to travel occasionally within Germany and abroad.Working location: Soest, GermanyPreferred QualificationExposure to high-power or high-efficiency systems (datacenter, EV charging, renewable energy, industrial power)Experience with simulation and design tools (PLECS, MATLAB/Simulink, LTspice, PSIM)Knowledge of thermal management, EMC/EMI, and reliability designHands-on experience with prototyping, validation, and lab testingUnderstanding of design for manufacturability (DFM/DFA) and collaboration with production teamsFamiliarity with international standards and certifications (IEC, UL, CE)Experience working in cross-functional R&D environments and global teams
