Automotive Systems is seeking a reliable and knowledgeable preferably Mandarin speaking Production Maintenance Manager to oversee all installation, repair and upkeep operations of the company’s facilities. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that various departments have the best physical resources available to complete their duties. This individual should be well-versed in all maintenance process and health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will also have aptitude in undertaking administrative tasks such as reporting, budgeting etc. The goal of this position is to ensure the company facilities are well-cared for and adequate to support the company’s business operations.Essential DutiesDevelop maintenance procedures and ensure implementationCarry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issuesCheck electrical and hydraulic systems of buildings to ensure functionalityPlan and oversee all repair and installation activitiesAllocate workload and supervise upkeep staff (custodians, janitors etc.)Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessaryMonitor expenses and control the budget for maintenanceManage relationships with contractors and service providersKeep maintenance logs and report on daily activitiesEnsure health and safety policies are complied withAble to respond to any emergency maintenance calls immediately during scheduled work hour; determines problems and solutions.Assist with any machinery maintenance within the automotive plantWork collectively and effectively with other departments within the facilityQualificationsFluent in Mandarin ChineseAt least 2-3 years’ experience in Plastic Injection Molding environment and/or related manufacturing fieldExperience using SAP and MES softwareBasic understanding of OSHA standardsStrong data-analysis and problem-solving skillsExperience with performing hands-on maintenance on machineryAbility to organize and coordinate work efficiently, set prioritiesAble to perform basic maintenance & repairs for property including company warehouseAbility to work under pressure and effectively to meet deadlinesAbility to listen, think clearly and communicate effectively and courteously in challenging and sometimes stressful situationsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong interpersonal skills, written & verbal communication skillsComputer-savvy, skilled with MS OfficeAutomation experience preferredAssociate’s Degree Required, Bachelor’s Degree Preferred in either Business, Manufacturing, or related field.Benefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceExperience:Maintenance: 5 years (Preferred)Ability to Commute:Troy, MI 48084 (Preferred)Ability to Relocate:Troy, MI 48084: Relocate before starting work (Required)
