TRIM PRESS OPERATOR 2nd shift

The Trim Press Operator will prepare casted parts from the die cast machines. * Job Duties and Responsibilities* Excellent attendance, be focused and engaged. Follow written work instructions for the designated part. Degate and trim part according to instructions. Alert Lead or Manager of continuous improvement ideas Efficiently work to the production standards set by mgmt. Clean and organize work area. Check parts for defects Meet all company and department goals for quality and production. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Must be able to read and comprehend written and verbal work instructions. Good hand eye coordination, manual dexterity (the ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects). Flexibility to adjust to various job assignments within their department and work in other departments as the workload increases and decreases. Willingness to work early morning or early evening shifts. Ability to work well under minimal supervision. Capacity to take direction. Strong attention to detail. Physically capable of lifting, pushing/pulling and moving objects up to 40 pounds routinely. Must be able to work mandatory overtime as required. * Education and Training* Eighteen years of age and either a high school diploma or GED. Mon - Thurs 3pm - 11pm Friday 3 - 8pm OR Noon - 8pm 8 hrs shifts includes paid lunch and breaks. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $19.00 per hour
