Java Developer – Wealth Management TechnologyLocation: Alpharetta, GADuration: 12 months contractPay Rate: $64.41/hr W2Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to support Wealth Management technology initiatives, focused on building and enhancing enterprise applications within an object-oriented, service-based architecture using Java and React . The role involves hands-on development, system design, and collaboration with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using Spring, JDBC, and JPA/HibernateCollaborate with architects, developers, QA, and product teams on system design and deliveryAnalyze complex requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutionsPerform application enhancements, bug fixes, and production supportDevelop and execute unit and integration testsDocument technical designs, requirements, and issue resolutionsMentor junior developers and support team best practicesRequired Skills:4+ years of Java development experienceStrong knowledge of Java, Spring Framework, APIs, SQL, and relational databasesExperience with Agile/Scrum methodologiesProficiency with UNIX/Linux and Windows environmentsStrong problem-solving and communication skillsPreferred Skills:Financial Services or Wealth Management domain experienceOracle database experienceKafka or message queue exposureFamiliarity with Confluence, issue tracking tools, and Linux desktop environments
