As a Pressman, you will be responsible for operating the screen printing press, assisting with production, and ensuring high-quality print jobs. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the screen printing industry.Key Responsibilities: • Operate screen printing press and related equipment under the supervision of experienced staff. • Assist in the setup and breakdown of presses for production runs. • Ensure accurate alignment and placement of designs on garments or other substrates. • Mix and prepare inks according to job specifications. • Monitor print quality and adjust settings as needed to ensure consistent, high-quality output. • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of presses and equipment. • Collaborate with other team members to meet production deadlines. • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace. • Troubleshoot basic issues with presses and report any major concerns to supervisors. • Handle and manage printed products with care to avoid damage.Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. • Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team. • Basic understanding of screen printing processes (training will be provided). • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. • Willingness to learn and take on new tasks. • Physical ability to lift 30-50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time. • Basic mechanical skills are a plus but not required.Benefits: • Competitive hourly wage. • Opportunities for overtime. • On-the-job training and potential for advancement.
