Drivers Ed Instructor (Boothbay)

Part Time Driver's Ed InstructorBoothbay-Wiscasset Regional Adult Education seeks a part-time driving instructor to teach classroom and behind-the-wheel driver’s education to teen drivers in the Boothbay Region. You will be responsible for teaching safe driving techniques and providing a positive learning environment. You must be patient and have excellent knowledge of Maine Bureau of Motor Vehicle driving laws and regulations.Boothbay-Wiscasset Regional Adult Education plans to launch driver’s education in the fall at Boothbay Region High School. This is your chance to help create a program that supports students and families in the Boothbay Region. We will provide competitive pay, vehicle, and administrative support to make driver’s education a success.If you are already a state-certified driving instructor, let's talk!If you don't have your certification, we are happy to help you through the process.Bring your dedication and your willingness to teach high school students to drive safely.We will provide training for the right candidate that includes a 90-hour introductory course and written exam. Training may require a commitment to commute from in-person instruction.
