Business Development Manager - Territory Sales100% Remote - Must be based in Texas or Oklahoma $70K Base + $30K Uncapped Commission ($100K OTE)The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for driving growth within assigned territory. This is a "Hunter" role with emphasis on business expansion— acquiring new customers and increasing sales of existing accounts.Candidates must have recent experience selling physical, tangible products ***Software, Insurance, Services, etc. backgrounds will not be considered***Required: Around 5 years of experience in new Business DevelopmentMust physically live within assigned geographyMust be a self-starter, enthusiastic, driven & self-motivatedStrong relationship builderProficiency with MS Office and CRM systems (SharePoint preferred)Ability to travel 50% of the time within assigned territoryResponsibilities:Execute a disciplined business development strategy aligned with company goals, with full ownership from prospecting through close and post-sale follow-up.Leverage a mix of field visits and strategic phone outreach to drive sales growth, prioritize high-value opportunities, and optimize territory coverage.Utilize deep product expertise to deliver impactful in in-person presentationsDevelop tailored sales presentations and proposals that clearly communicate product value and differentiation.Maintain a sharp focus on profitability by effectively managing pricing and margin strategies to ensure sustainable customer growthAnalyze sales data regularly to identify trends, evaluate performance, and uncover growth opportunities within the territoryRepresent the company at regional and national trade shows as needed to increase visibility and drive new business.Negotiate and close deals with a focus on creating mutually beneficial outcomes and long-term account value.Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Training, and other departments to ensure a cohesive and professional customer experience.
