As a Lowboy Driver, you play a critical role in keeping our projects moving by safely transporting the equipment that powers our work.This position is responsible for loading, securing, and transporting construction equipment to and from job sites while supporting field operations as needed. This role is ideal for a safety-focused professional who takes pride in reliability, teamwork, and doing the job right.What You’ll DoSafely load, secure, transport, and unload construction and paving equipmentOperate trucks in compliance with all DOT and FMCSA regulationsFollow all company safety policies and OSHA standards at all timesConduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections (fluids, leaks, safety equipment, etc.)Maintain accurate mileage and vehicle logsEnsure loads are properly secured and transported safely over designated routesCommunicate equipment maintenance needs with the Shop ForemanSupport field operations and assist with additional duties as neededWhat You BringValid CDL Class A or B license with acceptable driving record5 Year CDL A driving experienceKnowledge of DOT and FMCSA safety regulationsExperience operating or transporting construction/heavy equipment preferredAbility to follow directions and communicate effectively with team membersStrong commitment to safety, accountability, and teamworkWillingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, nights, and occasional SaturdaysAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditionsPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 80 lbs and push/pull up to 50 lbsAbility to sit, stand, and walk for extended periodsStrong coordination, balance, and stamina for active job site environmentsComfortable working in heat, humidity, dust, and other outdoor conditionsRequirementsMust pass background and drug screening in accordance with federal/state regulationsMust possess a valid Medical Examiner’s CertificateHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferred5 years of CDL A driving experienceWhy Join C.R.
