Senior Financial Analyst – Lombard, ILWe’re partnering with a well-established, Fortune 500 organization in the western suburbs. They are growing and looking to hire a Senior Financial Analyst.This is a high-visibility Senior Financial Analyst role reporting to the Director of Accounting, with strong exposure to leadership and business operations. You’ll play a key role in driving financial insights, supporting forecasting, and improving overall business performance.What You’ll Be DoingAnalyze indirect costs, including variance analysis, trend reporting, and benchmarking to drive actionable insightsSupport budgeting and forecasting cycles across multiple business unitsBuild and maintain financial models for planning, forecasting, and scenario analysisEvaluate actuals vs. budget/forecast, identifying key drivers, risks, and opportunitiesPrepare monthly business review packages and executive-level reportingDevelop KPI dashboards and performance tracking toolsPartner with finance, sales, and operations leaders to support strategic decision-makingDeliver guidance and training to business units on financial processes and best practicesCreate automated reporting solutions using Power BI and advanced ExcelSupport divisional leadership with reporting, analysis, and strategic initiativesParticipate in M&A-related projects and other ad hoc analysisAssist with administrative and operational finance tasks as neededWhat They’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting5+ years of FP&A or financial analysis experienceAdvanced Excel skills (Power Query, Power BI strongly preferred)Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify key profit driversComfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-entity environmentProven ability to build relationships across business unitsStrong communication, organization, and time management skillsSalary is based on experience $105,000-$115,000.Benefits include Medical, dental and vision.
