If you thrive in dynamic environments, love solving complex IT challenges, and are eager to support a fast-growing IT company, this role is for you!What You'll DoSystem AdministrationMaintain, monitor, and troubleshoot servers, networks, and cloud-based infrastructure.User Support & Helpdesk ManagementProvide technical support to remote employees, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.Security & ComplianceImplement cybersecurity best practices, manage access controls, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.Cloud & SaaS ManagementOversee cloud services, including AWS, Azure, and Google Workspace, optimizing performance and security.Backup & Disaster RecoveryEnsure robust data backup strategies and disaster recovery plans are in place.Automation & ScriptingDevelop and maintain scripts for IT automation and efficiency.Software & Hardware ManagementDeploy, configure, and manage software applications and company devices.IT Policy DevelopmentEstablish and enforce IT policies and best practices across the organization.What You Need to SucceedExperience5+ years of IT administration experience in a remote or hybrid setting.Technical ExpertiseStrong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).Hands-on experience with network administration (VPNs, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, etc.).Proficiency in cybersecurity tools and best practices.Ability to write scripts using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.Soft SkillsStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.Education & Certifications (Preferred but not Required)Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator.Why Join Everglade Works?Competitive PayEarn $40 - $50 per hour.Remote-First CultureWork from anywhere in the USA while being part of a collaborative team.Career GrowthOpportunities to advance within a leading IT company.Work-Life BalanceFlexible working hours to fit your lifestyle.How to ApplyIf you're ready to be the backbone of a cutting-edge IT infrastructure, we want to hear from you!
