Job DescriptionLow Temperature Field Technician - Commercial RefrigerationLocation: Louisville, COWage Range: $30-$40/hour (DOE)Job Type: Full-Time | OT EligibleReports To: Operations ManagerOverview:A leading mechanical contractor is seeking a skilled Low Temperature Field Technician to service and maintain industrial refrigeration systems in industries such as food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, chemical plants, and recreational ice facilities.Key Responsibilities:Service, maintain, and repair Freon and ammonia refrigeration systems (100-5,000 HP)Troubleshoot electrical and control systems (including VFDs and PLCs)Mentor apprentices and ensure job safety complianceMaintain accurate truck inventory and complete job documentationInterface with customers and provide technical recommendationsSupport sales with scopes for retrofits, upgrades, or system enhancementsQualifications:5+ years of industrial refrigeration/HVACR experienceExperience with reciprocating/screw compressors, 1 & 2-stage systems, liquid overfeed, CPR/HPRStrong electrical troubleshooting and motor alignment skillsFamiliarity with OSHA, EPA PSM, and RMP standardsIntermediate Microsoft Office skillsAbility to wear a respirator and work flexible schedules, including weekends/holidaysLicenses & Certifications:Valid driver's license and clean MVREPA Universal (required)OSHA-10 (within 6 months)RETA 1&2, CARO, or CIRO certifications (preferred)Benefits Include:Medical, Dental, VisionFSA/HSA401(k) with MatchCompany-paid Life & DisabilityPTO, Paid HolidaysAdditional voluntary benefits
