This opportunity will allow you to get the most out of your career as you:Develop and maintain membership for Legacy's Wellness ProgramPerform and document StayFit services with residents following company's policy and procedures under guidance of the Rehabilitation Director/Area Rehab Director.Provide personal fitness through Legacy's StayFit program and completes required billing and documentation.Deliver StayFit treatment plans in accordance with Legacy's programs. Fitness plans will be developed to improve health, fitness levels, and meet the members' fitness goals.Provide group fitness and wellness services through our LiveWell Program.Meets efficiency standard as set by company.Participates in department meetings and in facility meetings asThis individual will play a vital role in promoting wellness, independence, and overall functionality among our senior resident population. The Personal Fitness trainer / Rehab Tech will provide a fun and challenging experience, and will discuss, motivate, and teach the fitness member to improve and maintain their fitness and strength. The Personal Fitness Trainer / Rehab Tech is responsible for identifying goals, delivering tailored exercise plans for personal fitness and group sessions in accordance with Legacy's program structure. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.High school graduate or GED equivalentCollege graduate preferred with bachelor's degree in related field of study such as exercise science, kinesiology, etc.Personal training or group fitness certification - nationally recognized and accredited organization preferred or willing to attain (i.e. ACSM, NSCA, NASM, ACE, ISSA)Preferred 1+ year personal training or group fitness experiencePrevious experience with senior population desirable.Customer service skills to deliver an exemplary experience.CPR/AED Certification must be current andExcellent verbal/written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.Pay RangeUSD $20.00 - USD $24.00 /Hr.
