Together, we are committed to innovating and simplifying the cryogenics industry while upholding our dedication to excellence.We are currently seeking a Weld Coordinator to join our Production Team.As a Weld Coordinator, you will perform a variety of job responsibilities, participating in exciting projects at the forefront of cryogenic innovation!The Weld Coordinator facilitates all production in the cell, staging raw materials and parts for two to four welders to maximize weld time and ensure smooth workflow in accordance with the production schedule. The Welding Coordinator also inspects products during and after the production process to ensure they comply with the provided drawings and meet quality standards.To thrive in this role, you'll need a strong attention to detail and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Excellent attendance habits and the desire to work as a team are a must. Coming to work each day with a great work ethic and willingness to learn, you'll grow the skills necessary to succeed as a member of our Production Team.QualificationsA strong attention to detailThe ability to follow written proceduresThe ability to conform to all established safety practicesThe ability to lift 50 lbs.The ability to lift, bend, twist, and stoopHigh school diploma (or equivalent) preferred1 year manufacturing experience preferredResponsibilities IncludeMoving raw material and parts to and from welders, leak check technicians, braiders, and wrappersHaving at least one job prepared for each welder to start when finished with the current jobWorking with welders to determine proper sequence of assembly / welding for each IOIdentifying potential problems and errors with BOMs or Ios, and communicating with Zone Leader or Production Supervisor to ensure prompt resolutionContacting Zone Leader for rework instruction as necessary Feeding inners into outersFeeding outers into spiral wrap after leak check and stretchWhile a welder is occupied, preparing the next job to be weldedKeeping welders properly stocked with all needed supplies Hand wrapping any areas required during final weldInspecting all products per Finished Goods Inspection Procedure specified on drawingMaintaining cell dashboardMoving finished products to the proper area for the next operationOther duties as assigned by Production Supervisor or Zone LeaderThis is a production role located in Brazil, Indiana.About CraneCrane Co. is a diversified manufacturer of highly engineered industrial products.
