Snowflake Data Engineer (ONLY W2) - Local to Florida

Snowflake Data Engineer –Must live in Florida – Snowflake Certifications highly preferred. Data Engineering skills · Experience in building and maintaining enterprise Data Lakes and\or Data Warehouses. · Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows using Snowflake and modern data engineering best practices. · Architect and optimize Snowflake data models, including schema design, data clustering, performance tuning, and cost optimization. · Collaborate closely with data analysts, data scientists, product teams, and business stakeholders to convert clear requirements into robust data engineering solutions. · Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data accuracy, performance, and pipeline reliability. · Contribute to architectural decisions, development standards, and overall platform strategy. · Work independently on complex tasks while also contributing to a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Required Qualifications · 7+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering or related fields. · 5+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake, including Snowflake SQL, Snowflake Tasks, Streams, Warehouses, RBAC, Clustering, and Performance Optimization. · Strong expertise in SQL, modern ETL/ELT frameworks, and data pipeline development. · Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS · Proficiency in Python for data engineering. · Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Azure Data Factory and/or Airflow · Solid understanding of data modeling, data waehousing principles, and distributed data systems. · Proven ability to work independently, owning end-to-end solutions from requirement to deployment. · Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work across technical and business teams.
