Test Engineer - Level 3
Active Clearance Required: TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
Qualifications:
Eight (8) years’ experience as a TE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics Engineering Management, or related discipline form an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional TE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Position Description
The Test Engineer shall be responsible for designing, creating, executing, and documenting test plans and procedures to validate the functionality, reliability, and performance of next generation High-Performance Computing (HPC) systems to ensure that the HPC systems meets the specified USG requirements.
Position Required Skills
Experience using the Linux CLI
Experience developing/maintaining scripts using Bash/Python
General HPC technical knowledge regarding compute, network, memory, and storage components
Experience designing, developing, and executing test plans that cover all aspects of HPC system testing including unit, function, integration, regression, performance, scalability, compatibility, fault-detection, and reliability
Experience developing and maintaining test automation scripts and frameworks to streamline testing processes to increase efficiency
Experience working closely with developers and engineers to troubleshoot and resolve problems
Experience analyzing test results and providing recommendations for improving systemperformance and efficiency
Experience creating detailed test reports, including test results, performance metrics, and recommendations for improvement and communicating test results to the various stakeholders.
Experience creating thorough documentation of test plans, procedures, and results for future reference and compliance purposes.
Experience using HPC testing tools, frameworks, performance profiling, and debugging tools to assess and optimize the performance, scalability, and reliability of HPC systems and applications
Position Desired Skills
Experience with Git Source Control System
General ability to read and understand Python or C programming semantics andconstructs
Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
Familiar with CI/CD practices and tools to automate and streamline the process of building, testing, and deploying software.
