Manufacturing Technician

Job Description Solverra is a new endeavor, and the opportunity outlined below is located at our Voyles Road plant in Athens, GA. While Solverra is focused on the mission of making this world a safer, healthier place. Solverra will be creating a variety of extruded and/or injection molded products, such as straws, cups, lids and sheets that can be purchased by third parties for consumer use.We are excited to post our first opportunity with Solverra:Manufacturing TechnicianShift: 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.Daily Responsibilities include:· Technical setup & breakdown of equipment and production line.· Cleaning parts of the production line.· Handling multiple materials.· Operating the production line.· Maintaining records of activities in the form of job reports.· Maintaining a clean and safe work area.Minimum Qualifications:· 3 years of manufacturing or extrusion experience, understanding of basic manufacturing protocols, standard work and Good Manufacturing Practices· Ability to lift 50lbs, occasionally· HS Diploma/GED· Demonstrated mechanical aptitude Preferred Qualifications:· Ability to communicate effectively within a team· Problem solving to root cause· Acceptance feedback and coaching willingly· Ability to multi-task and remain flexible· MS Office skills, primarily ExcelCompany DescriptionSmall company with tremendous growth potential in a unique marketplace.Company DescriptionSmall company with tremendous growth potential in a unique marketplace.
