Position Summary
We are seeking a hands-on, traditional Electrical Engineer to support the design, development, testing, and production of electrical and electro-mechanical systems.
This role is focused on electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, wire harnesses, and cable assemblies, along with hands-on troubleshooting and system support. The ideal candidate designs electrical systems and is also willing to assist with physical wiring and build activities in prototype and production environments when needed.
This position is not focused on PLC or HMI programming.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Design and develop electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
Design wire harnesses and cable assemblies, including wire lists and documentation
Perform electrical system and power distribution design, including VFD-based systems
Select, size, and apply electrical components including compressors, blowers, fans, power supplies, transformers, breakers, contactors, relays, and PCBs
Assist with hands-on wiring and assembly of electrical systems during prototype and production builds as required
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve electrical issues in complex systems
Work closely with mechanical engineers to support electrical enclosure layouts (3D experience a plus)
Create and maintain Bills of Material (BOMs) using ERP systems (SAP preferred)
Use Product Data Management (PDM/PLM) systems for revision control (SolidWorks EPDM preferred)
Support testing, validation, and continuous improvement of electrical designs
Follow standard engineering project management practices
Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks
Adhere to all quality and safety standards
Collaborate professionally with cross-functional teams
Support additional engineering projects as assigned
Education, Experience & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required
3–7 years of hands-on electrical engineering experience
Strong experience with:
Electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
Wire harness and cable assembly design
Power distribution and control systems
Proficiency with 2D CAD tools (AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical preferred)
Experience working in prototype and production environments
Familiarity with analogue and digital electrical circuits
Experience with electrical component selection and panel wiring
Exposure to ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred)
Exposure to PDM/PLM tools (SolidWorks EPDM preferred)
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
High attention to detail and quality orientation
ITAR Requirement
This position requires access to export-controlled technical data and technology. Candidates must be U.S. Citizens or U.S. Permanent Residents in compliance with ITAR/EAR regulations.

Pay: $115,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
