US Logistics Operations CoordinatorJohor Bahru, Johor, MalaysiaWe're rethinking homes for how people really live, and we're looking for a US Logistics Operations Coordinator to join our Logistics Operations team to help shape the future of livingone thoughtful detail at a time.Operations at Castlery makes it all work streamlining processes and elevating every customer touchpoint.This is a 1-year contract, fully remote role based in Johor, Malaysia, supporting our US logistics operations during night shifts (9pm to 6am MYT).What you'll be doing:Track and manage container movements end-to-end (pickup, drop-off, return), including monitoring ETAs, resolving delays or discrepancies, and aligning with warehouse capacity and receiving plansMonitor and manage inbound-related costs such as detention, demurrage, and customs fees while ensuring accurate documentation and reportingOversee outbound operations by preparing shipping labels, monitoring daily pickups, coordinating with carriers, and resolving delivery delays, exceptions, or escalationsAct as a key point of contact for delivery-related inquiries, working closely with CX, customers, and partners to resolve issues such as lost or damaged ordersManage the end-to-end returns process, including scheduling pickups, tracking shipments, coordinating warehouse receipt, and ensuring accurate system updatesIdentify trends in return reasons, flag recurring issues, and support CX with timely updates and exception handlingAnalyze logistics and delivery data to identify root causes, improve cost efficiency and service levels, and support ongoing operational improvement initiativesMaintain accurate records across inbound, outbound, and returns workflowsSupport continuous improvement projects and other tasks as assigned.What you need to succeed:Strong proficiency in written and spoken English34 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation operationsStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze operational issues using data and structured thinkingCustomer-centric mindset with a strong commitment to service excellenceStrong written communication skills with high attention to detailAbility to work cross-functionally and handle fast-paced operational challenges effectivelyGood to Have:Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (diploma holders with relevant experience are welcome to apply)Proficiency in advanced Excel or data analysis tools for operational reporting and insightsFamiliarity with ERP, TMS, and WMS systems, as well as e-commerce fulfillment processesExperience with returns management systems or reverse logistics workflowsPrior experience working night shifts and/or in remote or distributed team environmentsBuilt for Real Life, Designed for What's NextAt Castlery, we've spent over a decade building a brand people love by designing furniture for real life durable, beautiful, and made to keep up with change.
