A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.Opportunity:\nRN - NICU\n\nJob Details:\n• Work 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM\n• Night shift weekend requirement: every other Friday and Saturday\n• Day shift weekend requirement: every other Saturday and Sunday\n• Rotate holidays with permanent staff\n• Level II NICU with 10 beds and nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:1-3 depending on acuity\n• Must have Level II NICU experience with at least 2 years of experience (1 year considered with multiple travel assignments)\n• Must be competent in couplet care in postpartum and able to attend deliveries\n• Must be experienced with stabilization and attending high and low risk deliveries\n• Experience required with respiratory conditions, hemodynamic issues, bubble CPAP, tube feeds, and substance abuse babies\n• Required certifications: BLS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), STABLE\n• Must have experience with ventilators, bubble CPAP, and high flow equipment\n• May float to Mother Baby unit\n• Scrubs provided by facility\n• Unit orientation includes 8-hour compliance day with manager, 8-hour Epic class, and 2-3 twelve-hour unit-specific orientation shifts\n• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment\n• Epic charting system\n• No call or standby requirements\n• BSN not required\n\nFacility:\nThis healthcare facility features a Level II NICU and Special Care Nursery providing specialized care for newborns with various medical conditions including low birth weight, prematurity, respiratory issues, and those requiring recovery support.
